In honour of Italian Heritage Month, we’re taking a moment to reflect on where it all began.

At Antipastos, our roots run deep. For over 35 years, our family has been proud to bring the flavours and traditions of our Italian heritage to Niagara. What began as a small deli in 1988 has grown into a gathering place for anyone craving authentic Italian food, quality ingredients, and a taste of home.

Growing up in an Italian household, food was everything. It was how we connected, how we celebrated, and how we showed our love. Sundays meant family, full tables, and hours around the dinner table. When we opened our doors all those years ago, we wanted to bring that same warmth and tradition to the community we love.

Today, we’re proud to still be a family-owned Italian deli in Niagara, rooted in the values we started with: authenticity, quality, and heart. It's tradition you can taste. That passion lives on in everything we do, from the handmade dishes at our hot table to the shelves stocked with premium Italian imports Niagara locals have come to trust.

You’ll find shelves stocked with carefully selected products that celebrate the best of Italian culture and food in Niagara. Whether you're hunting for traditional pasta, sauces, sweets, or that perfect espresso roast, we aim to bring a little bit of Italy to every basket. If you’ve ever asked, “Where can I buy the best Italian ingredients in Niagara?”, there’s a good chance someone sent you our way.

Our hot table is filled with customer favourites that pay tribute to generations of home cooking— Lasagna layered with love, tender veal parmigiana, meatballs simmered in a perfect sauce, and seasonal dishes that celebrate the best Italian flavours. Everything is made with care, using real ingredients and old-school techniques passed down through our family.

Being part of the Italian heritage of Niagara means more than just serving great food. It means creating a space where people feel welcome. It means honouring the traditions that shaped us. And it means continuing to serve the community with the same heart we started with, because for us, this has always been more than just a store.

So whether you’ve known us for decades or are just discovering us for the first time, benvenuti. We’re glad you’re here.

Grazie.
